Established by the grandfather of the current C.E.O., Israel Zmora, Machbarot Lesifrut dates back to 1939 and today serves as our showcase imprint for the best in international literary fiction.
Zmora-Bitan Publishers (ZBM) was established in 1973 by Ohad Zmora. In 1986 ZBM acquired Dvir, together with its affiliates Karni and Megiddo. The ZBM list includes classics of world and Hebrew literature, contemporary fiction and non-fiction, children's books, politics, biography and psychology.
